Daily Gratitude with Guest Blogger Ani Phyo - 06.12.2013
I’ve started to incorporate a daily gratitude practice. Upon rising, I meditate for 15 minutes, and then focus on 5 things I’m grateful for. I do this before bed each day too, and try to think of new things to be thankful for. It’s as simple as feeling grateful for having 10 toes and fingers, a wonderful family, loving friends and community, my dog Kanga, or even the opportunity to be nourished by the healthiest anti-oxidant superfoods. Something I’ve recently added to this practice is making a shake as my first meal of each day, usually with Sambazon Acai, as I find it helps cement my positive state of mind into place for the rest of the day.
