Get your basil up and on with this blended goodness. Here's a tip: If you want bigger coconut pieces, use flakes, but if you want things smoother, use shreds. Also, keep things thick with a frozen banana, but thinner with a freshie. Note: to help loosen up the smoothie pack, place under running water for a few moments, then cut to open.

Ingredients

  • 10 Basil Leaves
  • ½ c Coconut Flakes
  • 1 c Coconut Milk
  • ½ Banana (frozen)
  • ½+ tsp Ginger Powder
  • 2 Sambazon Original Smoothie Packs
  • 1 Tbsp Agave (or to taste)

Ingredients

  • 10 Basil Leaves
  • ½ c Coconut Flakes
  • 1 c Coconut Milk
  • ½ Banana (frozen)
  • ½+ tsp Ginger Powder
  • 2 Sambazon Original Smoothie Packs
  • 1 Tbsp Agave (or to taste)

Instructions

  1. In your Vitamix, add the coconut milk, coconut flakes, ginger powder, and torn up basil leaves. Blend on low until combined.
  2. Then add the frozen banana and Sambazon Smoothie Packs. Blend on low, slowly increasing the speed until everything looks good.
  3. Taste and then add your sweetener. Blend it up again.
  4. Pour into a tall glass and add a few baby basil leaves for garnish.
