Sweet potatoes are that kid that always get mistaken for the yam, but never get all the comfort loving of the other potato kids. Too bad cause Sweet Potatoes are THE BEST – they’ve got all sorts of vitamins, iron, and even this radical thing called magnesium that sets your stress levels at low-low-low. More? Potassium. More? They’re sweet, but that sweety, tasty, yummy is no worries cause those good sugars are slowly released into your blood stream for sustained epicness.

Ingredients

  • 2 Sambazon Original Smoothie Packs
  • 1/3 c Rolled Oats
  • 1/3 c Baked Sweet Potato
  • 1 Date, pitted
  • ½ Banana, frozen
  • ½ Pear or Apple, chopped
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon
  • Dash Nutmeg
  • Enough Coconut Milk to get it to blend
  • Granola

Ingredients

  • Enough Coconut Milk to get it to blend
  • Granola

Instructions

Dudes, this one’s going to be great, you just gotta follow a couple steps:

  1. Your blender gets your smoothie packs, oats, sweet potato, and maybe the date.  Blend that.
  2. Okay, now add the banana and pears.  You might need to add some milk, too.
  3. Now you’re almost there!  Add any other ingredients you haven’t yet.  Blend!
  4. Pour into a bowl, make sure it’s still really, really thick though.  If you added too much milk, you can add some more frozen banana.  Top with lots of granola, maybe some bits of date, and a fancy spoon.  Nice!
