Mango Açaí Protein Smoothie Recipe

SAMBAZON Original Blend Frozen Açaí Superfruit Packs adds an exotic boost of flavor to your smoothie. They contain antioxidants, healthy omegas 3, 6, and 9, and are a good fiber source. 

Nuzest Protein Greens + Berries has a "base of European Golden Pea protein mixed with organic alkaline superfoods and phytonutrient-rich berries. One serving provides 20g protein, 8 different superfoods and 11 fruits and berries." 

Smoothie Making Tips 

We recommend using a high-speed blender for making smoothies. This will ensure your smoothie comes out extra smooth and creamy. 

Adding 2 SAMBAZON Original Blend Frozen Açaí Packs instead of one will let the Açaí flavor shine and thicken up your smoothie. If you want to thin out your smoothie, you can opt for one acai pack or add in extra coconut milk.  

The recipe uses frozen mango and the option to use a fresh or frozen banana. Using frozen fruit will help the smoothie have a thicker consistency. Prolonging your fruit's shelf life by freezing your fruit to use in smoothies is a great way to be less wasteful in the kitchen. However, if you have fresh mangoes on hand, substitute the frozen mango for fresh to have a juicier smoothie. 

This smoothie blend encourages almond butter as an ingredient. If you prefer a different nut butter, feel free to swap that out to cater to your taste buds. Peanut butter is always another suitable option. 

Not all smoothies require toppings or a decoration. Adding coconut yogurt to the side of your glass makes for an aesthetic appeal, by making it appear swirled and dreamy. Adding a topping such as hemp seeds can add a nice crunch that will complement your smoothie.

Let's Make the Smoothie 

Ingredients

SAMBAZON Original Blend Frozen Açaí Superfruit Packs  

  • 2-3 tbsp Nuzest Protein Greens + Berries 
  • 1 banana (fresh or frozen)  
  • 1 cup frozen mango  
  • 1 heaping tbsp almond butter  
  • 1 1/4 cup unsweetened light coconut milk  

Toppings: 

  • 2-3 tbsp of coconut yogurt 
  • 1 tsp of shredded coconut  
  • 1 tsp of hemp seeds 

Preparation

  1. Take your SAMBAZON Açaí Packets out of the freezer to slightly thaw 
  2. Measure your frozen fruit, Nuzest Protein Greens + Berries, almond butter and coconut milk and set to the side 
  3. Drop in the 2 SAMBAZON Açaí Packets to your blender 
  4. Follow up with the banana, frozen mango, and almond butter 
  5. Add in Nuzest Protein Greens +Berries  
  6. Pour in your coconut milk 
  7. Blend until smooth (adding more milk for a thinner texture) 
  8. Add the coconut yogurt to the sides of the glass to create a swirled texture 
  9. Pour smoothie into the decorated glass 
  10. Top with shredded coconut and hemp seats 
  11. Sip and enjoy!
